Vincenzo Corrado is a civil engineer and a full professor of "Building Physics and Building Energy Systems" at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Energy. He has over 30 years of professional experience in research and development (R&D) in the fields of building physics, technical building systems, building energy performance modelling, energy audit and certification procedures, thermal comfort, indoor environmental quality, legislation, and technical standards related to energy and environmental issues. For more than 15 years, he has served as the Italian delegate of CEN TC 89 "Thermal performance of buildings and building components" and ISO TC 163 "Thermal performance and energy use in the built environment". He has also been a member of the working group of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development entrusted with the national implementation of the EPBD Directive. He has held scientific responsibility for numerous competitive national and international research projects awarded through a peer-review process. He is the author of over 300 scientific papers, didactic volumes, and editorials.
