Marta Chàfer is an International project manager in the Catalan Energy Institute, she holds a PhD in engineering by a Joint PhD between the University of Perugia and the University of Lleida (2021). International PhD (research in the National University of Singapore). Architect (2017) at the University of Rovira i Virgili and Building Engineer (2010) at the University of Lleida. She participated in other international, national and local projects. Co-author in the IPCC Working group III in chapter 9 of Buildings. Since 2022 joining ICAEN, the work is focused on two EU projects: TIMEPAC and ePLANET (H2020). The first is regarding the future and the enhanced EPC of buildings, and the second aims to facilitate the adoption of coordinated energy transition actions by the European public sector. She has published widely in international conferences and journals regarding the energy efficiency and climate change mitigation.
